Download and install the 2.0.2.7 patch(this patch also contains the passing dlc) , when asked to browse to a folder, just browse to you left 4 dead 2 folder(the folder that you installed the game in), while installing it will show decompressing audio files massage, wait a while, it'll take a long time.

2. Download and install the 2.0.2.7-2.0.3.8 patch, when asked to browse to folder once again browse to your left 4 dead 2 install folder(the folder that you installed the game in).

3. Download and install the 2.0.3.8-2.0.4.5 (this patch contains sacrifice dlc), this is the biggest patch of 'em all, 700 mb, when installed its 3.7 gb, when asked to browse just browse to the l4d2 install directory(the folder that you installed the game in), while installing it'll say decompressing audio files, this will take a LONG time, so be patient.

4. Download and install the 2.0.4.5-2.0.4.9 patch, when asked to browse to a folder just browse to your left 4 dead 2 directory (the folder that you installed the game in).
